About Make the Season Kind:
Food banks across this city are facing an unprecedented demand. Over the last year, food bank visits served a record-breaking 3.49 million client visits — almost one million visits more than the previous year. Donations to the Make the Season Kind campaign helps to provide emergency food support to those experiencing hunger this winter.
Last year, with your generous support, CBC Toronto raised over one million dollars in support of GTA food banks. Since 2015, CBC has helped to raise over $51 million for food banks and other charities from coast to coast to coast as part of our annual holiday drives.
