The Central Zone Quality Summit will feature presentations from our frontline staff and quality improvement teams. This event is intended for staff, physicians, learners, and Patient Family Advisors (PFAs) of Nova Scotia Health and IWK Health Centre.

These innovative and creative practices demonstrate exceptional leadership and high-quality service delivery and are worthy of recognition for what they contribute to their field. Many are ingenious in their simplicity and show how innovative strategies can be applied to achieve excellence.

The Central Zone Quality Improvement & Safety Committee is part of NSH’s Quality & Patient Safety Improvement program for the purpose of assessing, investigating, evaluating or making recommendations related to the provision of health services, and is focused on maintaining or improving the quality of health services. Membership of this committee includes NSH staff from many different departments/service areas, as well as patient family advisors (PFAs).
