AN ALTERNATIVE TO SPEED DATING! This singles speed mixer will combine the elements of speed dating and also a social mixer. Bring your business cards as this is also an opportunity for networking and meeting new friends. The age range is flexible if you are up to 2 years out of the age range.
We will have an icebreaker activity, game and lots of time for mingling. Attendees will have 7 minutes to chat with anyone of their choice and at the sound of the bell will select another person to chat with. We will repeat this several times and then we will stop for a game and then continue mingling with drinks, and you are welcome to stay and order food after the event. It is better than speed dating as you are not obligated to sit and speak with all attendees!
No need to be nervous, just remember that everyone is in the same boat. Let's get off those apps and try something different! All within an atmosphere that has low volume music where you can hear each other speak! All you have to do is show up and just start talking to anyone even someone of the same gender! Come with an open mind and positive outlook. Every effort will be made to keep the gender ratio balanced, however no guarantees can be made.
TICKET INCLUDES A COCKTAIL/WINE/BEER/NON-ALCOHOLIC DRINK.
Attendees are encouraged to initiate exchanging contacts at the event. (If you are asked for your contact information but do not feel a romantic vibe with the person, you can always let them know that you would be happy to exchange contacts but that you feel more of a friendship vibe). If you want to be connected with someone but are not sure if they are interested, feel free to send us an email after the event we will try to play matchmaker after the event is over! Make sure to pay attention to attendees names! Men typically initiate this.
Feel free to provide honest feedback to the host so future events and attendees can benefit.
Dress to impress! No sportswear/very casual clothing.
The event will start promptly so please arrive early. Parking can be found in the side streets or nearby parking lots underground.
Spots are limited. It is recommended to get your ticket as soon as you can. (If the gender ratio is very unbalanced, the event will be postponed. Please check your email the day before the event for any update)

If you are new to these types of singles events and want to come but are hesitant and feel shy/anxious, feel free to mention it to your host upon arrival or send us a message before the event and don't worry- you will be taken care of!
We cater to all types of personalities and include activities suitable for all. Our events are designed with introverts in mind. In fact, at our event in April, an introverted woman met her current partner and is already in a serious committed relationship! She originally was terrified to come!
It is advised to come with an open mind. You may even meet someone of the same gender who may have a cousin/friend/coworker/etc who may be the perfect fit for you! Or you may walk away making a new friend or business contact. You never know what can happen so it is best to stay and see how it goes!
Specific ages are not always known but keep an open mind. The perfect partner may not fit into your list of characteristics you are looking for and may be older or younger.
We never know exactly who will show up to the event in the end (people get sick/decide not to come at the last minute/have to cancel due to schedule conflicts/etc) but we strive for a balanced gender ratio. If there is a very unbalanced gender ratio, the event will be cancelled/postponed.
We take the “less is more” approach in that sometimes having less options is better to finding someone with shared values. Our events strive to combat “the paradox of choice” phenomenon which occurs while using dating apps/attending large events-having too many options may mean being less invested.
