This year's event starts promptly at 11am and ends at 1pm at Flato Markham Theatre. If you are interested in attending, please reserve a ticket for admission.

MACCA is alsoseeking nominees for Community Appreciation Awards. The nominees must be individuals of African/Caribbean heritage who have contributed to our community in his or her field of expertise. The contribution should have brought honour to the City of Markham and is recognizable beyond the community of Markham. Recipients of the Certificate of Appreciation will be recognized by the City of Markham during the Black History celebration event on February 6, 2025 at Flato Markham Theatre.
The deadline for submission of nominations is: Monday, January 27, 2025
