Community Dining Series: Trattoria Night with Chef Christopher Floyd
📅 Date: Thursday, January 30th, 2025
🕖 Dinner Begins: 7:00 PM
📍 Location: Brackendale Art Gallery
Join us for the inaugural evening of our Community Dining Series, a celebration of food, community, and connection. Each event in the series will feature a talented guest chef from the Squamish community, bringing people together for unique and memorable dining experiences.
Our first guest chef is the incredible Christopher Floyd, who will transport us to the heart of Italy with his expertise in Italian cuisine. For one night only, the Brackendale Art Gallery will be transformed into a Trattoria, the epitome of rustic, informal Italian dining.
Chef Floyd’s menu will showcase the best of seasonal, local produce, crafted into four classic courses:
- Antipasto (appetizer)
- Primo (first course, often pasta or risotto)
- Secondo (main course)
- Dulco (dessert)
✨ Menu Highlights:
While the full menu remains a surprise—true to the trattoria tradition—here’s a sneak peek:
- Braised beef
- Creamy risotto
- Cured meats and house-made preserves
- Homemade Italian desserts
- Seasonal ingredients like black kale, pear, and sunchoke
Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options are availabe.
Tickets: $45.99 per person (four courses included)
🍷 Beer and wine will be available for purchase.
Seats are limited, and this one-night-only event is expected to sell out quickly. Don’t miss your chance to experience the joy of communal dining and try something new!
