Join TRCA Educators and discover why The Meadoway matters and how it will enhance the landscape for people, plants, and animals. Then, help us plant native shrubs that support birds, bees, butterflies, and beyond! Participants will learn about local plants and help preserve and protect the environment.
Event Details
Here's more information you'll need to know:
- Meet your event leader just outside the park pavilion at Tommy Thompson Park, located at 1 Leslie St in Toronto, ON
- Please arrive on time and prepared for an afternoon spent outdoors
- Wear close-toed shoes, long pants, and dress appropriately for the weather
- All equipment will be provided, however participants are encouraged to bring their own gardening gloves to ensure proper fit
- More details will be shared with registrants closer to the date of the event

- Includes intermediate concepts
- Content intended for older youth and adults
Cancellation policy: The event will run rain or shine, but will be canceled if there is a greater than 70% chance of thunderstorm or other hazardous weather. Registrants will be emailed by 10:00am on the morning of the event if there is a cancellation.
