Join us at the Concussion Community Event and Book Launch for Raise Your Head Up: A No-Nonsense Guide to Getting Your Life Back After Concussion by Lina Maria Aristizabal. Hosted by Dan Trommator, the event will feature a conversation with the author and a chance to connect with local concussion practitioners. You'll also learn about resources, support groups, and activities available for those living with brain injuries. Come join us for an inspiring and supportive evening dedicated to raising awareness and providing tools for healing and support.

Beverages and food will be available for sale at the venue.


Event attendance is free and books will be sold at the event.

ABOUT THE BOOK

Raise Your Head Up provides a comprehensive, practical roadmap for post-concussion recovery, offering evidence-based strategies from wellbeing science. It focuses on building resilience, fostering connections, and rediscovering joy, with actionable exercises to help readers cultivate positivity and regain control over their lives.

Written by a brain injury survivor, wellbeing educator, and resilience coach, the book blends expert knowledge with personal experience. Lina Maria Aristizabal uses practical tools to guide readers toward meaningful change in their recovery journey.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Lina Maria Aristizabal is a wellbeing coach and resilience educator, dedicated to helping individuals thrive after adversity. After suffering a concussion in 2018, and several challenging years recovering, she turned to science-based wellbeing strategies to rebuild her own joy and purpose. She holds degrees from Buffalo State University of New York, the University of Toronto, and Nipissing University, alongside certifications in applied positive psychology, resilience training, and coaching. As co-founder of Revive and Thrive Wellbeing, Lina creates programs that help individuals flourish despite health challenges.
