About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour 30 minutes

TVCC youth clients who are 12+ yrs are invited to participate in this workshop designed to promote creative exploration.

We will look at fun activities we can do such as making plant terrariums out of old mason jars, and recycling old used paper into beautiful writing functional paper.

The youth will be encouraged to create different structured art or craft projects, using different mediums and approaches during Creative Connections. They will also be supported to make it their own.

These projects are approriate for youth interested in nature and plants and who are able to work independently on their project. Youth who need personal support are welcome to bring a support person.

All materials will be supplied.

In this series Youth will work on: building creative and artistic leisure skills, strengthening existing fine motor and planning skills, and make connections with other youth who have similar interests.

There is a Dinner With Friends group that will run directly after Creative Connections. Clients are invited to register for and attend both! You can register for Dinner with Friends at https://DinWfriendsMar11.eventbrite.ca
