About this event

In the morning session local artist Kim Cornwall will teach you the versatile dotting technique. Once you've mastered this she will walk you through how to use that technique to create a mandala on a slice of wood.

After lunch you will return to SHC where you will create a sand candle. We call this a sand candle, but it is actually wax! Creators will start with white wax and a photo, first dying the wax and then magically layering it in the jar to create the picture.

Schedule is as follows:

10:00am -12pm: Mandala Painting

1200pm - 1:00pm: break for lunch

1:00pm - 3:00pm: Sand Candle Making
