Each meeting gives us a chance to improve our communication skills. Everyone also has an opportunity to speak about topics of interest to our membership.
The first half of the meeting is for formal speeches. The Toastmaster pathways guides us through carefully crafted speech projects one step at a time. We learn the importance of organization, body language, voice, the right words and visual aids. We receive supportive evaluations to help each other improve.
The second half of the meeting is the time for short, impromptu “Table Topics” where we learn to “think & speak” on our feet and organize and structure our thoughts.
Our meetings are relaxed and supportive with a fun atmosphere. This is a community group that wants to learn and grow together.
