Jimmy MacKinley, from the Miramichi River, started his career in 2006, winning Best Actor at the Silverwave Film Festival. He later transitioned to stand-up comedy, gaining national recognition through CBC’s Laugh Out Loud and sold-out shows at the Vogue Theater.
He appeared in Trailer Park Boys (2021) and stars in The Canoe Project on Bell FibeTV. Jimmy also co-created O'Don’s, a comedy series about the restaurant industry, which has been renewed for a second season in 2025.
