About this event

  • Event lasts 14 hours

We look forward to having employers join an in-person information session in Deer Lake, NL hosted by both Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and Newfoundland and Labrador's Department of Immigration, Population Growth, and Skills (NL IPGS). We would like to thank the Town of Deer Lake and CBDC Humber for making this event possible!

Additionally, we will be joined by the Association of New Canadian's (ANC) who will provide information on their settlement services. Topics covered in this information session will include:

  • How to hire temporary foreign workers and the work permit process.
  • How to hire international students and how to retain them after they graduate.
  • Resources to help you find skilled workers faster.
  • Permanent residence pathways available to allow workers stay in Canada long-term.
