Who doesn't love Simple Minds Fri Mar 28 can't come fast enough The Sousa Group is proud to announce the first ever performance at the legendary El Mocambo by former Simple Minds Bass player Derek Forbes and his band The Dark.

Derek was a founding member of Simple Minds and played on their first 6 albums including "New Gold Dream" and "Sparkle In The Rain". Who can ever forget his distinctive Basslines on songs like "Waterfront". Derek has also played on several other bands including The Alarm, Big Country and Propaganda.

Derek was voted Best Bass player in the world and released his autobiography "A Very Simple Mind" in 2023
