This workshop will cover the five stages of the design thinking process: Empathy, Definition, Ideation, Prototyping, and Testing. It will emphasize the importance of empathy in understanding users, the role of clear problem statements in guiding ideation, and the iterative nature of the process in developing user-friendly solutions. Additionally, the workshop will explore how AI tools can transform design by accelerating the process, offering design alternatives, and predicting user interactions, ultimately enhancing creativity and efficiency in creating accurate and functional prototypes.


Agenda

The agenda for the workshop:

Module 1: Design Thinking (1.5 hours):

· Greetings and getting to know the participants and their companies

· Introduction and overview of services offered by WIMTACH

· Introduction to the design thinking process and the key process steps

· Tips and best practices in implementing the design thinking stages

Break (30 minutes)

Module 2: AI Tools and Case Study (1 hour):

· Review of the design thinking process and stages

· Introduction to the AI tools and how to use them

· Initiating a design problem and applying the design thinking framework step-by-step

· Implement AI tools in each step to facilitate and enrich the results from the design thinking process
