Please join us on January 25th for the opening of MINISEUM! We're thrilled to be part of DesignTO's 15th birthday celebration.

‘MINISEUM’ by Haiqa Nisar and Jacqueline Hampshire celebrates the essential tool of any spatial designer: the scale model. The idea was born from a love of exploring design through analog means. Models are both a representative tool and a workshop to test ideas. They create a new way of looking at the familiar.

Drawing on print material from Issues Magazine shop, ‘MINISEUM’ is a curated exhibition that invites passersby to pause and look closely. The installation embraces a near-universal nostalgia for miniatures and encourages a sense of wonder.

Haiqa and Jacqueline are both trained in architecture and work together as exhibit designers at a Toronto-based exhibit design firm. Outside of work, they engage with a variety of mediums, including printmaking, ceramics and casting.

This event is part of DesignTO. The window installation will be available for public viewing January 24 until February 2, 2025.
