This is going to be a special and rare opportunity for the general public to participate in an authentic Dia De Los Muertos experience. Victoria has not seen a night like this, so be prepared to immerse yourself into a powerful and genuine experience that is seldom seen outside of the Mexican Community.
Doors open at 6PM for Ticketholders to come down then to have a warm snack, some candies, and a drink. Each admission will include four tickets: two for warm food, one for candy, and one for a non-alcoholic drink. There will also be a cash bar available, and some great activities! You can take some time to learn about Altars, take a face painting lesson, or play some fun games (like Lotteria) in the Lounge. Also there will be some special snacks for sale, which can be taken home or eaten at the event.
At 8:30 be prepared to have blown at our Catrina Fashion Contest!
From 10:00 onwards the Dj will rock the party to the break of dawn (probably more like midnight ha ha)
The event is being produced through a partnership with the Victoria Oddfellows and the Welcome Gardens Program. Any proceeds raised from this event will be donated to the Welcome Gardens Program.
