Deadmalls is Kees Dekker (often accompanied by Aimee van Drimmelen). This project stems from a regular practice of pure creation, channeling the frustration, pain and beauty we all feel but can’t always process in a world blanketed by distraction. These days it’s mainly guitar improvisation, minimal in nature, repeating themes and finding a locked groove of resonance, some form of musical meditation for the soul.
