Our feature presentation, Jaya, shares the uplifting story of Jaya Krishnan, a 72-year-old Malaysian-Canadian whose journey from immigrant to community icon captures the essence of joy, kindness, and giving back. Jaya found his true calling and talent under extraordinary circumstances, and his story is one of resilience, love, and unfiltered sharing. He chose to build a life of success and family in Canada while extending his hand to those who need it most.

Special Guest: Jaya Krishnan will be in attendance for a Q&A following the screening, offering the chance to hear directly from the inspiring subject of this film.

Additional Films: The evening will also feature short films highlighting diverse cultures, capturing stories from around the world to complement our main feature and deepen our connection to the shared human experience.
