Kinsmen Club of Dorchester & Area Quarter Auction, in support of Camp BEL & Dorchester Scouting.
Tickets are $10 each, and include 3 paddles. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. so you can view the items that will be up for auction, and the event begins at 6:00 p.m.
Bring your friends and family for a fun evening of draws, prizes and refreshments! Your ticket purchase not only gets you in to this fun filled event but you will also be entered into our door prizes.
This is a 19+ event. Light refreshments will be available for purchase.
*Please note - online ticket sales end at 3 p.m. on the day of the event, but you can still purchase tickets at the door. Doors open at 5:00 p.m.
Here is a quick breakdown of how a Quarter Auction works:
Please note you do not need to bring actual quarters
With your ticket purchase you will receive three paddles. You will also be able to purchase 'quarter' chips when you arrive (we recommend doing this before the event begins).
Each paddle will have its own unique number. Each number will have a corresponding chip in our raffle drum with that same number on it. When an item comes up that you would like to bid on, you place a quarter chip in the table bin if you would like to bid on that item. If your paddle number is called and you have placed a quarter bid, congratulations, you win that item! If your paddle number is called and you didn't place a bid, your friends will endlessly tease you, but it will be in good fun.
