The drop spindle has been used to create yarn and thread throughout the ages. It is considered to be one of the earliest tools made by man, used across all cultures.
This is a fun and interesting craft to learn, appealing to handspinners who also knit, crochet or weave.

Equipment to bring:
- Drop Spindle, if you have one - There will be spindles available for your use or you may purchase one in class
- Fibre for spinning, if you have it - there will be wool available to purchase in class

LDWS workshops are open to all. If a participant is less than 18 years old, they are required to have a parent or guardian present at all times
Workshop is limited to 10 participants, please register early.
This class has a minimum number of 5 participants to proceed. If this number is not reached we’ll let you know about a week before the start of class. You will be refunded your full registration.
