About this event
Drop the Mask is BACK for a second year!
Our inaugural 2022 fundraising gala for mental health awareness and supports was a huge success, and we couldn't be more excited to host this event again this year.

Talking about mental health is rarely easy, whether it be about our own struggles or bringing the topic up with a loved one, but it's arguably the most important thing we can do to safeguard ourselves and each other. Drop the Mask YYC raises funds for much needed mental health supports in Calgary, and serves as a platform to show others that removing our 'masks' (you know, that all-too-familiar facade we put on when we tell others "I'm fine!") is rarely as scary as we think it will be, and actually invites many welcome, and sometimes life-saving outcomes. Navigating your mental health is hard enough, let’s not make it harder by feeling like we need to go through it alone.
This masquerade gala will be held at the historic Fairmont Palliser in downtown Calgary with proceeds going to the Calgary Counselling Centre.
🎭 Some highlights we are most excited about:
- Dueling Piano Kings are BACK to entertain for a second year!
- VIP access and seating
- Live music
- Silent auction
**Dress code is formal/black tie masquerade**
