About this event

Collaborative Business Planning (CBP) is a powerful adjunct to the QualiWare Enterprise Architecture platform and available as a managed service on the Azure Cloud. CBP supports Landmark's well-established Business Process Analysis & Costing (BPAC) methodology which enables stakeholders across the organization to develop, analyze and deploy operational and financial results for improved decision-making. As such, BPAC and CBP fully met Gartner’s definition of a Digital Twin of the Organization (DTO):

"A DTO is a dynamic software model of any organization that relies on operational and contextual data to understand how an organization operationalizes its business model, connects with its current state, responds to changes, deploys resources, and delivers customer value."

Presented by Landmark Decisions, this workshop is delivered over four successive 3.5-hour morning sessions (ET). It is offered to new and interested users of DTO-CBP assigned the responsibility of building, validating, and generating meaningful results from DTO-CBP models. Access to the CBP Cloud is provided for each participant to support a step-by-step learning approach and complete hands-on exercises. Participants come away with “ready to apply” tips, techniques, and templates that enable them as DTO-CBP Modelers.

Key Learning Objectives

  • Learn the architectural structure of CBP within the QualiWare platform
  • Understand the detailed concepts of BPAC using the building blocks of CBP
  • Explore various data entry and results display options, and how to validate models
  • Learn how to automate data entry and results integration
  • Develop CBP reports and export CBP results to Excel or BI tools for further analytics
  • Appreciate new business insights that can be delivered using QualiWare’s web interface

Who Should Attend and Why?

This workshop provides foundational training on developing DTO-CBP business models to help organizations collaborate to improve organizational performance. It will benefit:

  • Technical Analysts designated to be the key DTO-CBP Modelers in their organizations
  • Business Analysts who will act as conduits between the DTO-CBP Modelers and the business users of DTO-CBP information
  • Internal or External Consultants interested in learning the fundamentals of DTO-CBP on behalf of their organizations or clients

Pre-requite training: Existing experience with Excel; process diagramming tools (such as PowerPoint or Visio); and/or data visualization tools (such as Power BI) would be beneficial but not essential. Experience with QualiWare is not required.
