Vocalists Mark Cassius, Quisha Wint and Michael Dunston headline this varied, inspiring program of beloved 20th-century pop classics such as Ain't No Mountain High Enough, Higher Ground, O Happy Day and A Change is Gonna Come. Backing the vocalists will be The Jordan Klapman Quintet.
This 90-minute concert is presented by Music at St. Andrew’s.

Mark Cassius is best known for his work with the world-renowned a cappella group, The Nylons from 1997 to 2005. During this time he sang baritone and penned some of the group’s original pieces. He is also a musical theatre veteran who has appeared in Jesus Christ Superstar on Broadway, where he reprised his Stratford Festival role. Among his many stage credits: Ragtime (Toronto) Shenandoah (Toronto and Broadway) and Miss Saigon at Toronto's Princess of Wales Theatre.
Quisha Wint grew up in a Jamaican/Canadian home listening to reggae, Motown, gospel and R&B. She entered the jazz program at Humber College in the mid ’90s. Since then Quisha’s become one of Toronto’s most sought-after session vocalists. She’s performed/recorded with Johnny Reid, Jackie Richardson, Paul Shaffer and Maestro Fresh Wes. She also performs regularly at corporate gigs and released her first EP, My Life, in 2021 to rave reviews.
Michael Dunston is a vocalist, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and actor. He heads up Spirit, a nine piece, full-throttle, high octane Gospel and Blues group which has performed at The Rex Hotel, Jazz Bar and The Montréal Bistro & Jazz Club. As a vocalist and trumpet player, he has shared the stage with artists such as Diana Ross and Bill Cosby and he has performed with musical groups covering the genres of R&B, soul, rock, blues and jazz.
