Join MISC at 4:00 pm on Thursday, January 30th at the Faculty Club (3450 McTavish Street) for the launch of Elaine Craig’s new book, Mainstreaming Porn: Sexual Integrity and the Law Online.
The focus of this talk will be on porn streaming platforms, the platformization of sex, and the protection of sexual integrity in a data driven era.
Elaine Craig is a professor of law at Dalhousie University and a Dorothy Killam Research Fellow. She is the author of Troubling Sex: Towards a Legal Theory of Sexuality, Putting Trials on Trial: Sexual Assault and the Failure of the Legal Profession, and Mainstreaming Porn: Sexual Integrity and the Law Online.
The lecture will be followed by a Q&A and reception. McGill-Queens University Press will be selling copies of the book during the event. This event is free and open to public.
