  • Event lasts 2 hours 30 minutes

Join us for an enlightening workshop exploring the intersection of queerness and spirituality. Our "Embody Worthiness: Queerly Devout - Returning to Our Spiritual Birthright" event aims to heal complicated relationships with religion and reconnect with faith traditions.

Led by our community partner Pablo Seto, participants will engage in guided meditation, thoughtful discussions, and shared experiences. We'll delve into healing religious trauma, finding inclusive faith communities, and rediscovering our spiritual birthright.

Workshop focus:

  • Reclaim the word "religious" and rediscover our capacity to awaken, heal, and transform
  • Understand the difference between the teacher and the teaching
  • Heal wounds arising from harmful faith practices

Whether through meditation, sharing, or listening, participate in ways that feel comfortable for you.

Organized by

Our mission for the Queer Healing Collective (QHC) centres on what it means to heal in a community. We’ll be co-creating nurturing spaces where all intersections of Queer identity can be deeply introspective and delightfully silly. We envision QHC as an accessible, supportive, intersectional, and collaborative environment. Every so often, we meet at a physical, revolving location around Toronto where we explore a particular theme around healing. These will be two-hour events. During this time, we will converse, listen, reflect and move our bodies.
