E-MOTION: "To set in motion, to move out."

Explore the full spectrum of your emotional landscapes in this 6-week expressive art series designed to bring embodied consciousness and acceptance to the universal emotions that move us all.

Emotions are literally “energy in motion.” They profoundly shape our experience and quality of life. When we don’t understand or recognize our emotions, we can get stuck in cycles of reactivity, leading to overwhelm, tension, or even disconnection. If you’ve ever felt hijacked by your emotions—like they control you instead of the other way around—this workshop will offer a new path forward. Learn how to cultivate a deeper awareness and acceptance of your emotional landscape in order to move through life with more ease, vibrancy, and resiliency.

Through creative exploration, guided visualizations, and reflective practices, you will gain the tools to master your emotional energy and reconnect with yourself on a deeper level. Whether you're looking to release built-up tension, understand your emotional triggers, or create space for deeper self-awareness, this workshop will empower you to cultivate a more conscious relationship with your emotions - and ultimately, the world around you.

No art experience necessary!

What To Expect:

  • A safe, non-judgmental space for personal exploration and creative expression
  • Simple warm-up activities to loosen creativity and flow
  • Guided visualizations that offer safe avenues of connecting with emotional states
  • Full-movement art expression, journaling, group discussion, and reflection
  • Exercises to develop emotional regulation and awareness, clarity, and control

This Workshop is For You If You Want To:

  • Cultivate a healthier relationship with emotions, including the difficult ones
  • Release tension, emotional blocks, and thoughts that don’t serve you
  • Learn centering techniques to navigate big emotions
  • Gain awareness of emotional triggers and responses
  • Express emotions safely and non-reactively
  • Explore the biology of emotions and how they shape behavior
  • Increase your ability to choose how you act, responding rather than reacting

Her love for dance, movement, and body-centered practices informs her approach, emphasizing that emotions are meant to move through the body. Meigan's recent certification in Somatic Attachment Therapy complements her knowledge in emotional regulation, attachment theory, and trauma-informed practice. Her work focuses on helping individuals unlock their authentic expression through art, somatic awareness, playfulness, interpersonal connection, bringing greater emotional flow and clarity into their lives.

ABOUT ART THERAPY:

When we allow ourselves the permission to slow down, drop in, and explore the full-range of non-verbal expression, we open the doors to deeper levels of self understanding. Through movement, art, and play, we have the chance to explore the unknown, move beyond our comfort zones, release inner judgments, and heal through conscious awareness of sensation.
