Youth employment - Exploring summer and part-time employment for youth with an intellectual disability

Edmonton and area youth with an intellectual disability and their families are invited to join us on the evening of January 15th for a 2-hour workshop on finding employment. Whether you are thinking about the possibilities of a summer job or a part-time gig during the school year, this event will explore strategies for success and practical tips for your search of meaningful, paid employment. Finding a job is an important step on every youth’s employment journey!

This session will explore:

  • Helpful resume and cover letter tips
  • Interview suggestions
  • Proven job-hunting practices
  • Networking to grow the possibilities

Youth job seekers, their family members and support workers are invited to join. This session is free, but please register your spot.
