Organized by

The Evangelical Missiological Society (EMS) exists to advance the cause of world evangelization by promoting the study and evaluation of mission concepts and strategies from a biblical perspective. As a professional academic society, EMS includes several hundreds of missiologists, mission administrators, educators, pastors, and students of missiology. Regional gatherings foster collaboration across diverse perspectives while contributing to the larger missiological conversation at the EMS annual conference.

The Canada Region covers all provinces and territories across Canada, with active participation from Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, and Ontario for the 2025 regional conference. The purpose of the Canada Region of the Evangelical Missiological Society is to provide a forum once a year around April/May for Canadian missiologists and practitioners to engage each other around relevant topics in missions. This is motivated by a felt need for “dialogue, fellowship, and cooperation" among evangelicals devoted to researching, publishing and instructing in areas related to the mission of the Church.
