About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour 30 minutes

School Boards are an important elected part of our municipal level government. Many of us may not think about this role until we are casting our ballots for our local city council and Mayor every four years.

This September, join us for "Engaging your Local School Trustee: What you need to know to engage with public education at the Toronto District School Board", an interactive conversation to build your awareness around the Toronto District School Board and the massive undertaking that sustains public education. This discussion-based session will test your knowledge through table talk discussions, myth-busting facts and through sharing lived experiences. Ask staff for a print or digital Information Kit for resources to read, watch & listen about the School Board Trustee system in Ontario.
