This is not your typical paint party! We are not doing a 'step by step' group image. You'll be guided to formulate your own concept to convey an emotion, a season, an experience or idea, then acrylic paint colour mixing and techniques will be demonstrated so that you can express the concept on canvas.
Join me at the creative hub of Hamilton — The Cotton Factory. Our studio is located in the DyeWorks Building - a funky, industrial art space where your host (Karen Klucowicz) will guide you through inspiration, concept and techniques to bring your ideas to life on canvas.
Whether you're a beginner artist or an art enthusiast, this workshop will explore creativity and abilities you don't realize you possess. In an intimate group, you'll get one-on-one guidance and motivation to create a painting that is meaningful to you.
All materials are provided, you just need to show up in comfortable clothes (and ones you don't mind if a little paint gets on them - in case you're a messy painter like Karen). Oh, if you like, you're welcome to bring your choice of beverage for a paint'n'sip evening, while you work!
There are many entrances to this complex so make sure your gps is directed to our studio at 9 Landsdowne Avenue, Hamilton at street level. About 6minutes off the QEW. Plenty of free street parking and a lot at the back of the Factory.
Join us for a fun, creative-filled evening — you'll go home with a masterpiece to hang on your wall and your own sketchbook to keep the creativity vibing.
