To highlight the psychosocial factor of Psychological and Social Support of the National Standard for Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace, the Canadian Innovation Center for Mental Health in the Workplace is proud to welcome Carlos Esteves to deliver the session below.
Feeling Safe and Engaged: Return to the Workplace
Join Carlos Esteves in this presentation that will help employees prepare their return to the workplace by exploring the range of impacts of the pandemic on different people.
Returning to the workplace can be challenging in both physical and emotional terms. Participants will be provided with tips for adapting to change and communication skills to ease the transition, learn how to facilitate a sustainable transition back into the workplace, identify effective communication strategies to support yourself, and explore self-care strategies to support your mental and physical well-being.
Presented by:
Carlos Esteves is a facilitator and a training and development consultant with over 20 years of corporate and classroom adult education experience. He holds a Bachelor of Science, with a Psychology Major, and Master of Education degrees from the University of Toronto.
As a Staff Facilitator for Lifeworks Learning, he delivers the first workshop in Canada that focuses on teaching mental health in the workplace leadership to people leaders. He has taught participants from a cross section of industries, professional fields, and from all organizational leadership levels as well as to international audiences.
In addition to facilitating a range of workshops, he delivers Train-the-Trainer sessions for new Facilitators, serves as a keynote speaker, and provides adult education and instructional design consulting support and services.
