Please join this session on Canadian financial literacy to learn more about the following topics:

Topics covered:

  • What are credit and debit accounts?
  • Opening a bank account
  • Understanding bank cards in Canada
  • What newcomers need to know about credit.
  • Why does having a good credit score matter?
  • Tips for good credit history
  • What are some basic investment/saving options for students?

Session Time & Format:

  • An overview of financial basics topics by advisors at Royal Bank of Canada
  • Q&A session


You will have the option to submit questions when you register. You'll also be able to ask questions during the session. We will answer as many questions as we can.

To participate in this session, you will need to register, have access to the internet and a working computer. Registered participants will be provided with a link in advance to access the online space.
