Alton Mill Arts Centre is delighted to present Actor/Storyteller Jay Wilson's full-length tour, Floods, Fires & Fortitude. Renowned for his captivating storytelling, Jay Wilson of JayWalking Tours features unusual tales told where they happened, guiding you through the heart of Alton with stories that resonate with the past and echo in the present.

The 90-minute tour begins at the Alton Mill Arts Centre and takes you through Alton's charming streets and historic sites. Experience the thrill of historical events as Jay narrates tales like “The Flood of 1889” and “The Naming of Alton,” among others that left their mark on the village.

Jay will also guide you through the historic Alton Mill, sharing intriguing stories of the people and events that shaped its legacy. As you walk through the village and the mill, you'll encounter reenactments, historical characters, and twists that bring the past vividly to life.

Are the Tours ever cancelled?

Unfortunately, there are occasions when we may need to cancel a performance. If this happens, all ticket holders will be contacted, and we will facilitate rescheduling or refunding as necessary.

What if I want to cancel my ticket?

While we hope you don't, refunds are available up to four days before the performance.
