Gentle Flow & Stretch
In this class we will slowly and gently move our whole body through a number of mini-flow sequences. This practice focuses on coordinating our breath with movement while working on proper yoga form for increased strength, flexibility and balance. In the last 15 minutes of class we will spend a few minutes stretching and then find stillness in Savasana with a guided meditation. This practice combines all of the benefits of moving our bodies, connecting to our breath, stretching our connective tissues, and going inwards to exercise the power of our minds.
Please note that I will be recording myself leading Gentle Flow & Stretch classes to submit for the practicum requirements for the 85-hour Prenatal Yoga Teacher Certification that I am currently undertaking.
This class is beginner level and is suitable for adults (16 years +) of any fitness level who are able to get down onto their mats and up to standing again unassisted. Teens age 13 to 15 are welcome to attend with consent of their parent or guardian - please email to lemonadeyogafun@gmail.com.
We will begin promptly at 8pm; please arrive 5-10 minutes early.
Please bring to class:
- yoga mat
- water bottle
- hand towel
- blanket or warm layer for final Savasana
