End your Monday with a gentle stretch and Yoga Nidra practice, which promotes sleep, to improve your life. As the class comes to its end, you also have a chance to engage with/pet Oscar, an 8-year old therapy dog, if you’d like to. Having been trained to assist hearing impaired people, Oscar is a very good and gentle boy.
Your guide, Christina (Oscar’s owner), fell in love with the gentle aspects and the openness Yoga Nidra brings. After practicing for 10 herself, she became certified to help others lean into their wellness, as she has for the last 10 years. She also specializes in modifying the practice to support anyone with sensitivities, injuries, or pain.
Please bring your yoga mat, pillow, and a blanket for the most comfortable experience. This class will leave you feeling rested and restored.
It is beginner-friendly.
If you have impairments that do not allow you to use a flight of stairs, please let us know in advance so that we can host the experience on the main floor, rather than on the mezzanine level.
7-8 pm (plus the Oscar petting, if you want to stay!)
Price: Free in November, $22.50 thereafter.
(This is a standing class – every Monday at 7 pm)
