Attention Seniors!
Join Heart Comonos every Monday and Wednesday morning for our FREE senior's fitness classes, suitable for those aged 55+.
These classes are perfect for seniors who are looking to get out of the house, move their body and maybe even make some new friends.
Our Wednesday classes are focused on chair yoga.
Additional information:
- Modifications will be offered for those with joint issues and physical limitations stemming from surgery or injury.
- A variety of equipment will be used in addition to the participants own body weight.
- We will include some work on the mat as well as standing— although many standing exercises can be performed in a chair if that works better for you.
- Participants have the option of whether or not to use weights.
- Functional exercises will be included
- Every class will include a beginning warm up and cool down/stretching at the end
- Suitable for all levels.
After class on the last Monday of each month, we also host a potluck!
All classes in this series are beginner- friendly. Any equipment that is needed will be provided. Come as you are - all abilities welcome!
Please arrive 15 minutes early for each class as all classes will begin on time.
