Our Expert Speakers:

Richard Bloomfield, MBA

Richard Bloomfield is a leader in the sustainability of food production. He is a PhD candidate in Geography and Environment at Western University and an Assistant Professor at Huron University. His research focuses on the political economy of agri-food systems in Ontario, with a special emphasis on farmland policy, ownership dynamics, and alternative land-use models that support next-generation farmers. Richard also co-founded Urban Roots London, a non-profit urban farm dedicated to improving food access, and Sidetrack Café, which now operates two locations in London, Ontario.

Spencer Steinman
Spencer Steinman is a co-owner of Father & Son Financial in Petrolia, Ontario, where he has been working as a financial planner since 2015. He specializes in financial planning for farmers, serving over 300 farm families across the province. As a Qualified Associate Financial Planner and a member of CAFA (Canada's Farm Family & Farm Business Advisors), Spencer focuses on farm succession planning and intergenerational business strategies.
