About this event

  • Event lasts 6 hours

In this exhibit, mother and son explore the ways in which our creative practices intersect and evolve, drawing inspiration from both the natural world and the personal landscapes around us. Lynda Lombardi works primarily with encaustic medium and her own photography, creating layered, textured works that evoke a deep connection to both time and place. DK Lombardi’s work spans a variety of materials, from oil and acrylic on canvas to sculpting in wood and plaster. His subject matter is deeply inspired by the surroundings of Sooke—wildlife, the rhythms of his hobby farm, and his talent for figurative painting.
