Location: 10-623 Farnham Rd, Gibsons BC – classes are upstairs in my townhouse with a maximum of 6 people. Note: I have a small friendly dog.
Explore the delicate world of watercolors and have fun discovering what this media can do while we dive into abstraction to develop a subject. Participants should be willing to experiment and step out into where the painting is leading. Classes are meant to help develop your creative ideas in a playful and imaginative way.
Class 1 - abstracts, florals + color mixing
Class 2 - abstracting an animal - just add water

Supply list: please bring
- watercolor paints - tubes or pans are fine - student quality is fine. Should have mix of colors, with at least the basics: paymnes grey,brown, red, cadium yellow, ultramarine blue, violet or purple, green (i favor sap or hunter)and an orange please
- watercolor brushes - a few sizes
- watercolor paper
- painting board (you can borrow mine, but you would need something to carry your stuff home on)
- paper towel or a rag
- painters tape
- ink pens / pencil crayons / apron (optional)
NOTE: if you do not have supplies for these classes, they can be purchased from me for $40 provided you let me know ahead.
