As climate change intensifies, the pressures fueling mental health struggles and substance (mis)use—especially among vulnerable communities—this conference unites experts, policymakers, community members and advocates to share evidence-based solutions, spark meaningful collaborations, and shape policies that safeguard and elevate global well-being in an era of environmental transformation.
The GMWS 2025 conference is organized by the New African Canadians (NAC), a not-for-profit providing community-based mental health support, immigration and settlement assistance to individuals and families. GMWS 2025 is also a collaborative partnership with the numerous stakeholders and institutions.
