"Glow-Up" Critique Session with Maria Ford

Professional West Coast Swing dancer and teacher Maria Ford (from Ottawa) is visiting Waterloo! Come learn from the best! All levels are welcome but you should have some understanding of West Coast Swing basics (at least one or two 5-wk beginner class blocks).

6:00-7:00pm Optional Warm-up time

7:00-9:00pm "Glow-Up" Critique Session (at Hepcat Studio)

Maria's special "glow-up" critique session. Only the first 7 leaders and followers will be critiqued (i.e. spotlight dancing), but others are welcome to sign up and learn from the critiques. Note that this event is a separate ticket from the rest of the event on Saturday which can be accessed here.

9:00-10:00pm Optional Social dancing/pratice time (or if we need to run over time)

• $50+HST

MASK & VACCINATION POLICY

Masks and vaccinations are no longer required for public events. Please do your best to keep yourself and your community safe. This means if you are sick, please do not come to class, and if you have been exposed it is recommended that you wear a mask to protect the safety of our community and fellow dancers. If you are sick prior to an event please contact us for a refund minus Eventbrite's booking fees. If you are sick at an event (sniffling/coughing) you will be asked to leave immediately with no refund.

REFUND POLICY

Class passes and workshops will not be refunded except under extreme circumstances, but can be transferred to the next class block if necessary (must be requested), or to another person of the same role (leader/follower).

WAIVER & MEDIA RELEASE

You will be asked to sign a Waiver and Media Release (photos and videos taken during the even may be used in promotional materials or posted on social media). If you have questions about the Waiver prior to purchasing your event pass, please contact us. You cannot participate in Remix Swing events without signing the Waiver.

AGE REQUIREMENT

All participants must be 18+ years old. Or 16+ years old and accompanied by an adult guardian (separate regisration required).
