Grab a friend, or two (or more) and join us for a gluten-free version of McDougall Cottage's ever-popular Tea by the Grand.
We’ll be serving up our classic Cottage tea, complete with cucumber and cream cheese tea sandwiches, savoury pinwheels, baked goodies and more, but this time around, all are without gluten!**
You don't have to follow a gluten-free diet to enjoy this tea with all of its scrumptious treats – everyone will delight in this tasty event and what could be better than a chat and a nosh in a cozy 165 year old stone cottage?
**All of the baked goods for this special tea exclusively come from Gluten Free by Suzie's gluten-free certified bakery in Kitchener (https://glutenfreebysuzie.ca/ ).
Important: In consultation with Chef, Adam Heard, every effort will be made to avoid cross-contamination, however the kitchen at McDougall Cottage is not a certified gluten-free facility and cross-contamination cannot be guaranteed.
Note: Tickets are also available for in-person purchase at the Cottage during McDougall's hours of operation (open Fri-Sun noon to 4 p.m., beginning on February 21, 2025)

- To assist staff with event set-up: If the members of your party are purchasing tickets individually, rather than under one reservation please email us in advance of the tea, so we can be sure to seat all the members of your party together mcdougall@regionofwaterloo.ca
- Children under the age of three do not require a ticket, however please let us know if they are attending so that we can account for attendance totals when planning our seating arrangements.
