About this event

  • Event lasts 3 hours

The CFB runs a weekly Saturday bus trip to Superstore, Walmart, T&T Supermarket, and some specialty shops on 34 Ave!

The bus leaves promptly at 10am, please arrive at least 5 minutes early! CFB volunteers will not be on site before 9:50am.

The grocery bus picks students up at the taxi drop off near the HUB/LRT entrance (next to the bus loop) and drops them off at the Superstore on Gateway Boulevard, Walmart, T&T Supermarket or at some Specialty Stores on 34th Avenue (Spice Centre, Halal Meat Shops, etc). We will then bring you and your groceries back to campus. This is a great way to stock up on groceries and meet new people!

Masks are strongly encouraged, but not required on the bus

Frequently asked questions

Tickets are all sold out, can I still take the bus?

Yes! We save some drop in spots on every bus trip. We encourage you to come to the pick up stop before 10am on a Grocery Bus day, ask the CFB volunteer if there is room for a drop in still. Drop in spots are first come first serve!

Do I have to take the bus back to campus?

Nope! If you decide not to take the bus back, please let a CFB volunteer know if you can. But if you don't come back by the pick up stop, that is okay! We will assume you decided to find your own way back to campus.

I want to bring a friend, should I sign them up for a spot?

Yes, please do! That helps us know how many people are attending the bus. But if it is a last minute decision to bring a friend, we do have drop in seats open on every bus. We will do our best to get everyone a seat if possible.
