🎃 Special Helloween edition - come in your SPOOKY (or funny) outfits 🎃

A spooky prize will be given to the best-dressed of the ride 🧙🏽‍♀️

This is a NO DROP women's ride. That means: no one gets left behind! We will meet at the Samsara shop and ride for 75 -90 min on a route set by our ride leaders, Maux Elworthy and Michaela Khan. The ride starts at 6.00pm, so please arrive at 5.45pm to meet the group and get the safety debriefing. The typical route will begin at the storefront and follow two loops through Stanley Park, but is subject to change for special rides.

Prior cycling experience is necessary. However, this ride is meant to help ease riders to become more comfortable with group rides, so we are here to help and guide those without as much experience.

We HIGHLY recommend getting a Cycling BC membership. For only $93, you are covered in case of any accident while out riding. Please note: if you do not have a valid Cycling BC membership, you will be required to fill out a waiver in order to join our group rides.

About our Ride Leaders:

Maux Elworthy just loves biking. A passionate bike commuter, cycle tour enthusiast, and occasional fondo rider, Maux grew her knowledge of safely leading a pack through the role of Domestique for a local cycling club. With a focus on safety, fun, and inclusion Maux loves sharing the joy of cycling with new riders, and is thrilled to co-lead group rides for Samsara this summer!

Michaela Khan is running researcher by day, but by night she's on her bike! As a PhD student on a budget, she has mastered the art of affordable and accessible biking adventures. Michaela also coaches a Women's Intro to Road Biking Clinic, and is passionate about supporting and educating new riders. She is always so happy to build a bigger biking community, especially for minorities.
