About this event

Group Volunteer Day

Come join us for a fun-filled day of giving back at the Calgary Humane Society! This event is perfect for groups looking to make a difference in the community. No experience necessary - just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to help out. It's a great way to bond with your group while also making a positive impact on the lives of animals in need.

Volunteers start their day by signing a volunteer waiver, touring our facility, visiting adoptable animals. After, groups will assist with a variety of tasks including but not limited to laundry and dishes, deep cleaning and organizing our training gym, landscaping, groundskeeping, painting etc.

To ensure maximum value for both Calgary Humane and Group Volunteers, we ask groups volunteer between the hours indicated on the event listing. Group size must be a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 12 people. Calgary Humane cannot accommodate youth within the group volunteer program at this time. Volunteers must be 18 +. Larger groups will need to book two separate dates.
