Get ahead in the growing agricultural food and technology sector with the Digital Agriculture Fundamentals Program by Palette Skills.
The 150-hour training program covers emerging technologies in agriculture automation such as GIS, IoT, drones, AI, and big data. The hybrid program is offered in Saskatchewan with a program fee of $150 CAD + tax.

That's why we've developed our innovative upskilling program, the Digital Agriculture Fundamentals Program. This program is designed for motivated workers who want to join the agricultural food and technology sector.
Are you eligible to apply to the program?
- You’re excited about innovation and committed to launch a career in digital agriculture
- You’re a resident of Saskatchewan
- You hold a high school diploma or equivalent
- You have three years of work experience outside your studies
- Your legally able to work full time in Canada
- Language Requirements: CLB Level 8, or IELTS of 6.5 overall
- You’re ready to join the agri-tech workforce full-time after completing the course

Frequently asked questions
This program is for individuals ready to start a full-time career in the industry immediately after the program. It is not suitable if you are currently studying full time. If you have a few months to a year left of your ongoing studies, we recommend you apply for a future offering of the program.
If you’re committed to transition to a career in the agrifood industry, and to working with a different company and in a new role, and you can attend the two intensive weeks and six weeks of part-time sessions (including in-person sessions), you may be eligible to apply.
This program is an 8-week hybrid program consisting of 2 weeks of full-time attendance and 6 weeks of part-time attendance.
There is NO fee to apply, but if you are selected to join the Digital Agricultural Fundamentals Program, you must pay a program fee of $150.00 CAD + tax, payable by credit, cash, or e-transfer.
