I'm Dee Webb, your photography guide and instructor. My journey began in the heart of the Australian Outback, where I spent my childhood marveling at nature's wonders. At 17, I ventured to Canada on a student exchange and landed on Birdseye Ranch, right next to the breathtaking Waterton Lakes National Park. I always joke that I forgot to go home because I fell in love with southern Alberta and made it my home for 30 years!

Now, I split my time between the lush landscapes of Costa Rica and the stunning vistas of Waterton, spending half the year in each paradise. My passion for photography blossomed from my love of nature and the outdoors. Even as a kid, I knew I saw the world a little differently—I could spend hours watching ants and other fascinating critters, which in Australia, was quite a lot!

As my children grew, so did my obsession with photography. Nowadays, it’s rare to catch me without my camera, always ready to capture the beauty around me. I guide photographers through the wonders of Costa Rica and Waterton, helping them discover and frame the shots of their dreams.

I also work with Women in Wildlife Photography as a co-coordinator and guide, and I've recently started collaborating with Brandon Broderick, the Canadian Geographic Photographer of the Year, as his tour coordinator and assistant guide. Teaching and inspiring fellow photographers to achieve shots they never thought possible is one of my greatest joys.

I'm excited to share my love of photography with all of you and can't wait to see the incredible moments we'll capture together!
