Welcome to the Halloween Bash at Soraya Hafez School! Everyone Welcome!

🎃 Join Us for a Spooktacular Family Fun Night! 🎃

Bring the whole family for an evening packed with exciting activities, games, and delicious treats! Our Halloween celebration will take place at the Soraya Hafez School Gym in the heart of McConachie, Northeast Edmonton.

✨ Costumes are welcome (but not required)!
Get ready to dive into our fun-filled games and win awesome prizes! Take a break in our cozy movie theater, featuring family-friendly Halloween movies and cartoons, and dance the night away with Kevin from PartyNation Entertainment spinning the tunes!

🎈 We’ll have a talented balloon artist, hands-on crafts, and a photo booth to capture your cutest Halloween moments. Plus, a silent auction with unique items up for grabs will keep everyone entertained.

Where is Soraya Hafez School located?

980 McConachie BLVD NW in Northeast Edmonton. Near 66 street and 167 Ave.

Will there be food for purchase during the event?

Yes, there will be hot dogs (beef and halal), popcorn and drinks available for purchase. Please BRING CASH. We do not have a debit or credit card machine.

Will there be tickets available at the door?

Only if the event does not sell out. Tickets at the door will be more expensive than pre-purchasing a ticket before 10pm on October 24th.

Are there washrooms available?

Yes. There are 2 washrooms available.

Is there parking available?

Parking is available at the front of Soraya Hafez School in the drive through area and also in the Staff Parking Lot. If those areas are full, there is plenty of parking along 170th avenue heading westwards towards Tim Hortons.

Will this event be scary?

We are gearing this event towards the younger crowd - ages 1 to 12. We are avoiding any scary items to keep this event as family friendly and fun as possible.

Is there a debit or credit machine available on site?

NO. Please bring cash if you wish to purchase food or drinks.

Is this event accessible friendly?

Yes. Everything is on the main level of the school. No stairs to be climbed etc.

Where will the entrance to the event be?

This event will be held in the gym at Soraya Hafez School. The entrance will be on the west side of the school, off 170th avenue, next to the empty field and staff parking lot. The entrance will be clearly marked. Please note - the entrance IS NOT at the front of the school.

Soraya Hafez Community Playground

We are a small group of dedicated volunteers who are committed to building an inclusive playground next to Soraya Hafez School, located in the northeast Edmonton neighbourhood of McConachie.

Our project has been awarded some grants and we have raised over $107,000+ through community fundraisers and donations.

However, we still have a long way to go to reach the total funds needed to build a community park for everyone to enjoy.
