About this event
Some kind of space craft has crash landed at Jackson Square!
It's massive 12,000 square foot maze of tunnels and portals that seem to lead to other points in time and space. From our intital exploraiton we've discovered a code system that seems to unlock the mysteries of why it landed here and what we can do to send it back on it's way.
There's a portal to the stars, a science laboratory, a strange bar filled with familiar faces, displays of relices from times past ...or maybe the future, bizarre games and video stations, and so many more unexplained encounters.
Join us the NOVA HQ to get your passport and orientation, then explore the wonders of NOVA!

Enter through the King & MacNab entrance by TD Bank. Your first step in attending Winterfest POP: NOVA is checking in at the NOVA HQ located right next to BEST BUY. From here the engagement team will get you signed in and taken over to NOVA just a few steps away.
Yes. The entire space within NOVA is one level and we've been mindful to ensure all pathways and entrances meet AODA standards.
There is ample parking located throughout downtown and under the mall. Most parking in downtown is paid parking. The Downtown BIA has this convenient parking map on their website: https://downtownhamilton.org/explore/parking-map/
You can enter Jackson Square from any entrance during regular business hours. After 8pm you must enter from the King and MacNab entrance, (TD Bank), as it remains open all night.
Absolutely. NOVA is an interstellar experience that welcomes all visitors regardless of their planetary origins. Come dressed as your favourite pop culture space character and you'll likely get a special reward.....
Alcohol is only served at NOVA After Dark which occurs on select evenings from 9pm to 1am.
