About this Class: It’s time to get your hands messy! In this special edition class, we are partnering with Too Good to Go to share our favorite recipes that fight food waste. You’ll learn about how we’re working together to reduce food waste and how you can use ingredients found in your Too Good to Go bags to make simple, authentic recipes at home. Our Scuola chef will prepare the dishes for you to taste in class and guide you on how to make pasta from scratch. Take your culinary creation with you at the end of class and enjoy your own hard work at home!

About the Menu:

  • Pallotte Cacio e Ova: a traditional Abruzzo dish, these bread, egg, and cheese balls are cooked in a tomato sauce.
  • Orecchiette con le Cime di Rapa: this pasta shape is named for their shape, which resembles a small ear, and hails from Puglia. Learn how to work with leftover bread to make breadcrumbs and use the whole rapini to make your sauce.
  • Torta di Pane e Cioccolato: a rich and simple cake that combines stale bread with chocolate.

In this Class You Will:

  • Learn about the traditions and culture of these Italian recipes
  • Observe as our Scuola Chef teaches the group how to make each dish and repurpose often-wasted ingredients
  • Make your own orecchiette from scratch by hand
  • Enjoy a welcome Prosecco and the menu prepared by our chef
